Absolutely bitter taste and it works wonders. My 4 year old was even sucking her ovolo and I involved her to occlusion by her 5th birthday. I utilised it erstwhile on her Stop nail bitting best cheap ovolo and she finished sticking her thumb in her verbalize for a good month. Erst in a blue, I’ll pinch her with her thumb in her verbalize as if she’s done it equally an afterthought, I just reapply the polish while she sleeps and that’s that. She’ll require me if I put the polish on her nails if she catches a taste of it while eating, (lol) I only smiling and require her if she remembers me doing so. It’s great! Only it depends on the child. I tried it on my 3 year7 old niece, but she just proceeded biting her nails. She does it as a queasy tick and though she acknowledges that her fingers taste “yucky” she can’t assistant only bite her nails if she feels nervous or agitated.
